In my 2009 nearly drunk
nearly freezing perspective

I look skywards on arrival
to the 2009 home
& for the first time since
moving to London,

I actually see stars -
like those I dreamt
we two watched
(declaration of near love)
& dreamt you saw
our Gemini selves,
but is just one self
(recognition you'll probably
break my heart)
& an idea of beloved
(please turn up somewhere),
